The Dundalk Leisurecraft Canadian Timber MiniPOD CTC77MW is a compact 2–4 person outdoor sauna with a distinctive pod (raindrop) shape, built from 1.5" thick Eastern White Cedar and finished with a black asphalt shingle roof for reliable all-weather performance. Its 7' x 7' footprint, side wall benches, and large tempered glass door create a cozy, modern sauna that fits easily in most backyards, patios, and cabin sites.

Crafted in Canada as part of Dundalk’s Canadian Timber Collection, the MiniPOD uses sustainably sourced Eastern White Cedar with a select tight-knot grade. The cedar’s light cream tone, visible grain, and natural aroma give the interior a warm, spa-like feel, while its durability and resistance to decay make it well-suited for outdoor installations. The rounded front and sloped roof help shed rain and snow, making this design especially practical in cold or snowy climates.

Inside, the side wall benches run along both walls to maximize floor space. This layout allows up to 4 people to sit comfortably or 2 people to lie down and stretch out fully. The pod profile concentrates heat where you sit, improving heating efficiency without wasting energy on unused overhead space. The large bronze-tempered glass door window brings in natural light and a view of your surroundings while maintaining a sense of privacy.

The MiniPOD CTC77MW ships as an easy-to-assemble kit, packaged in a wooden crate with pre-cut cedar components and hardware. The black asphalt shingle roof is standard on this model, protecting the outer walls from the elements and giving the sauna a finished architectural look. Assembly is designed for typical DIY skill levels; Dundalk notes that the Canadian Timber units are straightforward to build with the included diagrams and manuals. 

Assembled, the MiniPOD measures approximately 85.6" wide x 85" deep x 84" high, offering full standing headroom while preserving a compact footprint. The sauna’s size makes it an excellent fit for smaller yards, urban spaces, rooftop terraces (where permitted), or cozy cabin decks, while still feeling generous once you step inside. With a seating range of 2–4 bathers, it’s ideal for couples, small families, or solo wellness rituals. 

The structure is built from 1.5" (35 mm) Eastern White Cedar lumber, supported by quality hardware and an exterior clad in black asphalt shingles. This combination delivers excellent thermal performance, long-term durability, and a classic Scandinavian-style aesthetic. The tempered glass door, solid cedar benches, and smooth interior surfaces all contribute to a calm, relaxing sauna environment. 

Important requirement – heater & chimney:

This MiniPOD sauna cabin does not include a heater or chimney system by default.

• A compatible sauna heater is required for the sauna to operate.

• If you choose a wood-burning stove, a stove chimney / pipe kit is also required for safe venting.
